I was given these meme questions a long-long time ago and somehow I forgot about them and then just stumbled across them in my e-mail and am now using them to procrastinate. Sorry, padf00t I must have had a brain freeze back then...
1- Is Antonin Dolohove your favourite HP character? If yes, how did he come to be your favourite?
Well, I suppose it really depends on whether I take my headcanon into account. If I’m to go by strictly canon facts, then Ron is more of less my favorite character. But, if fandom/head canon are to be taken into account, then yes, Tony is a favorite. This has to do with a certain fanfic (sadly in Russian) which basically GOT me into HP fandom. Before, I was reading the books but not really caring. I also became the basis of my own headcanon. My Tony has strayed quite a bit from that fic’s author’s Tony but it’s still all a lovechild of that fic and my brain.
2- Do you pay attention to astrology? Does your zodiac sign fit you?
I’m not huge on astrology but I think my zodiac fits me rather well overall.
3- What's the worst book you've ever read?
Not sure, but I could not make it through even most of Catcher in the Rye. Found it utterly boring.
4- Do you have any phobias?
Lightning scares me. Also, for whatever reason, I have a fear of fast moving trains. I mean, not in general, but like when you’re standing on the platform at the metro and the train comes in and it’s all huge and roaring… Creepy, creepy, creepy. I don’t know why, but I always stay far far away from the edge, Way more than is needed really.
5- Who is your least favourite HP character and why?
There are several I dislike but I guess Umbridge. For all my dislike of Harry, he can’t beat Umbridge.
6-What was the first no kids book that you read and how old were you?
Lol what would you define as a no kids book? As in, too mature for kids or not specifically a children’s book? If it’s the former, then I honestly don’t remember. If it’s the latter…I read a lot of classic adventure books as a child (before 10) or had them read to me; books which really aren’t children’s books. But since those are books that kids read a lot anyway, I’ll say that the first one I remember was Eugene Onegin by A. Pushkin. I was 12.
7- If you could change one thing about yourself, physically or not, what (if anythiing) would you change?
I would have 20/20 vision. Or at least vision that would allow me to drive. As it is now, I’m legally blind and it’s a pain in the ass.
