Catching up on Suits [Aug. 18th, 2013|12:40 pm]

I really should make an RL post or something, but I don’t know if I wanna re-live all the crazyness that’s been going on. So, instead I’ll talk about Suits a bit.

Harvey is till a bit…annoying. He spouts about loyalty a lot, but he doesn’t seen to have a bit issue with trying to double cross everyone/anyone in order to get what he wants. Although, as far as him and Mike go, they seem to be doing alright.

Steven! Or should that be spelled Stephen? I’m guessing Stephen would be more British? (I’m too lazy to go and find it in the IMDB credits or whatever.) Anyway Stephen/Donna are definitely great together and I’m definitely shipping it. I started out as a Harvey/Donna shipper but then Scottie came along and I ship Harvey/Scottie a lot more. (BTW, I wish she was around a lot more,)

I still don’t care for Mike/Rachel much but since I don’t really ship Mike with anyone else (other than Harvey or Trevor, but Trevor’s gone and in a het/canon-verse I like Harvey with Scottie) they’re not super annoying. Really, it’s mainly that I’m not big on Rachel.

Of course, when we hit the slash-verse, Harvey/Mike definitely take over and all the girls have to kinda…find something else to do (although Stephen/Donna works in this scenario just fine too :p).

Speaking of Harvey/Mike…I’ve realized that I’m a lot more likely to ship friendship dynamics (ala Sherlock/John, where there is no formal power structure between them nor a large age-gap) than mentor/mentee ones. I’m not sure if it’s the age gap between Mike and Harvey that’s getting in the way of the slashing…maybe. I think they’re far enough in age to be cross-gen wouldn’t they? Mike’s like mid-20s and Harvey’s gotta be at least 40.

Yes, this post is pointless.
