No very deep observations here or anything, but wow, this show is pretty intense. I've made it through the 1st season (been marathoner it since I got home from work pretty much). My mom said she likes watching doctor shows more than cop shows because they're not depressing or whatever, unlike cop shows where people get killed and stuff. But, IDK, either Nigh Shift in unique in this or I'm totally missing something, because I'm definitely WAY more on edge/anxious with this show then when I watch SVU, for example. Even though SVU gets me to tear up a lot, somehow it's just...IDK. It's still easier to handle. I also hate hospitals though, so there is that, and they deal with some gruesome injuries here.
Poor T.C. As infuriating as he can be sometimes, it's hard to not give him a break. His PTSD is a real bitch. And yea, he and Jordan have some serious chemistry. I don't exactly ship them, but the chemistry is undeniable.
But shit. Poor Scott. I'm pretty sure he's not aware of all of T.C.'s issues, so of course he's not giving him a break. Not to mention that Jordan has been kind of...stringing him along. I mean, not intentionally, I guess, but it's still true. I felt awful for him in that last episode.
OMG Michael Ragosa! He's completely won me over. Poor thing, can life get any shittier for him? And he's not a bad guy at all, even the opposite. I don't think there's been an episode yet when I hadn't wanted to give him a hug at least once.
Oh and! Drew/Rick! Love that whole trope when a stressful situation gets one partner to step over a fear (or make any sort of sacrifice really) in order to save/help/support the other.
